Complaints Policy

Customer service formRiver Lodge & Ringmer Surgeries aim to give a friendly and professional service to all our patients. However, if you have any concerns about any aspect of our service, please let us know to help us improve our services for patients.

If you would like to make a complaint, this should be in writing, either using one of our Foundry Healthcare Complaints Form or by letter to the Practice Manager who will investigate any concerns you raise.

Our Complaints Policy is in line with the National criteria. A full copy of the Practice's Complaints Policy  is available below, as well as a Foundry Healthcare Complaints Leaflet regarding our Complaints Policy.

Violence and Zero Tolerance Policy

The NHS operates a zero tolerance policy with regards to violence and abuse and the practice has the right to remove violent patients from the list with immediate effect in order to safeguard practice staff, patients and other persons.

Violence in this context includes actual, or threatened, physical violence or verbal abuse which leads to fear for a person’s safety. In this situation we will notify the patient in writing of their removal from the list and record in the patient’s medical records the fact of the removal and the circumstances leading to the decision.
